ETTA was established in 2016 by two young entrepreneurs, with international experience, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The purpose of the company is to become the leading technology provider to support the economic growth of the country in different sectors.
Since it's been launched, it has primarily invested its self in the Taxi Hailing sector, where it is using its own online platforms (mobile and web-based applications) and its 24/7 call center to satisfy the local market demand. Being the first of its kind, it has attracted the attention on international media, such as Forbes in February 2019, after winning numerous awards nationally and internationally.
